Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

There are threads on here, usually posted by people just being a bit naiive, that consist of a line or two based on the assumption that requesting a meet makes success a certainty.

There is then some light piss-taking of the OP, and the threads fade away.

My question is, what is the solution for those people?

Taking the piss isn't going to help them, but helping them is unlikely to work, based on all the times individuals had feedback (not just profile) - Some people don't want to learn, plus we're not here to educate randoms.

Which leaves ignoring them, as used by the majority of you. Is that all there is? How could we develop willing site members into viable participants?

I think some people at the age they are should really know how to interact with people they want to have sex with.

If they don't know at their age then...oh just pass me the cake.

If by your 20's, 30's, 40's and yes, even 50's, you haven't acquired the social skills to have a conversation with someone in a manner that engages them, arouses them and interests them enough to get jiggy with you face to face, in real life, then quite honestly it's going to be nigh on impossible online via t'internet.

Some people think sites like this are a short cut, a quick fix or an easy alternative to having to be interesting and engaging.

Couldn't be further from the truth.

And the trouble with hand holding and giving advice is that they will often either not take it on board at all, or just copy the actions and words they've been told to. Which may open a door or two but creates a bigger issue when they have to go back to being themselves late, either in future online contact or F2F.

People need to learn for themselves, rather than imitate or expect others to do the work for them.

Possibly harsh. But definitely true.

I think this is very important. Some people need to learn that swinging via a website isn't for them. It's probably the hardest way to meet people.

Mind you some need to learn that swinging is not for them full stop.

I don't give any profile advice or any advice anymore. I use to but most don't pay any heed to it anyhow .They post in the hope that will be enough to get attention most of the time.

Everyone on here is an adult and to be honest if they don't know how to communicate with others and think that faf messages or pictures of their genitals with messages like do you want some of this will be enough to meet others off here then I don't think any advice will help anyhow.I have lost count of the amount of times I have seen people say it's a sex site and say how they shouldn't have to make an effort because that's what they think they site is.It usually shows they have no idea and have a complete lack of respect for anyone else on here. Nothing will ever change that attitude but it's rare people with that mentality have any luck on here either and they are usually the ones who are abusive and rude.

There's no one solution.

It's true that some people will continue to behave in exactly the same way and continue to be surprised that the outcome of their behaviour is exactly the same. However some people are genuinely very socially awkward for various reasons and possibly a little vulnerable, I can't see the problem with encouragement and advice in that case

The biggest problem is that it doesn't matter what we or they do there simply is no amount of advice that will address the imbalance of men v women on the site
