We’ve add it through the long weekend! How does Monday find you?

I’m doing ok, quite jittery this morning but it didn’t interfere with my sleep and I’m not feeling too anxious about the sensations so far! Working to a deadline on a tough assignment for uni so that’s probably not helping, also my hormones have been running wild all weekend. I’m just trying to be kind to myself in the midst of it all. CBT again Wednesday after a three week break again, I think I’ve done ok with my homework - I haven’t Googled any symptoms and I’ve managed to only take my propanalol twice (on the same day) so coped quite well on the whole.

How are you all feeling today? Feel free to check in as briefly or as lengthily (is that even a word or did I make it up?!) as you feel you want to.

Sending love to all as ever x

After a week off I do not want to go back to work.

Which reminds me, I’d better get out of the bath.

Good luck with assignment OP

Quiet end to the week recovering from hospital stay and awaiting more tests

Trying not to worry too much about them as little I can do

Grateful for any reason that helps me battle dark thoughts but need a reason for me rather than for others

Delightful Bliss

Good morning lou

I am glad you are doing well on your cbt homework and good luck for Wednesday

Things are pretty awesome right now, I'm in a process of big positive change and very focused on what I need in life, which reaps its own benefits

I won't leave it so long to do a reset kick up the bum next time

Thank you x

Sorry to hear about the tests, the unknown is often scary, especially when it comes to health. And you’re right, always best to have a reason for yourself. Sending love x

After eight days of having the house full of grandchildren and an extra dog I’m feeling super tired and not sure how to cope with the quiet. I think I need a project to work on. Retirement brought me time to discover that I can build things from wood, maybe a sand pit and a water play table will keep me going for now.

I’ve been weaning myself off sertraline over the last couple of months and am just dropping below the ‘50mg every other day’ dosage by taking one every three days.

Aww, I can see how the sudden quiet could feel a bit disconcerting! Those project ideas sound good, I bet the grandchildren would love them

I hope the weaning off the meds is going ok, I know it can sometimes be tricky. Sending love and positive thoughts

Really sorry to hear that, that all sounds a lot to deal with. Crap from here is definitely something you can choose not to put up with, I’m glad you decided to take a break and I hope it’s all faded away now.

Thanks for that. Really appreciate it.

I’m pretty done with the meds, they served a need at a difficult time and had it not been for the whole global pandemic thing I’d have been off them before I think.

Hope all is well with you

Meh.

Worked all weekend.

Had little to no time off recently either.

I am working everyday until Monday, have a couple of days off and then back to another project for the foreseeable.

I'm far from burnt out but I need to see my daughter, to sit on my own sofa, to think about something other than how much I'm working.

Could be worser

That sounds really tough, I’m sorry you’re going through that, anxiety sucks. The throat thing is called globus sensation, I know it can be really unpleasant

Hope you can get back on track with your meds and are feeling better soon. Sending love x

Difficult week both passed and ahead. Lots of issues in all facets of life to tackle, which feel a little overwhelming. Need to talk more and plan better, neither are my natural qualities but it’s time to try

Good luck everyone

Thank you for this thread as always x

I had another strange week with random challenges being thrown my way and I’ve been unwell with a stomach bug which really knocked me for several days. However still made it to work for all my shifts and managed to have a meal out with friends and have a meet for great sex so I’m claiming a win!

Mentally in quite a good place

Sending good vibes to all who would like them x
