all loved up

I've enjoyed the feel good feeling... I really loved watching everything.. and the little bit of history in the making..

To be fair I think that after thr last few years I've found it to be very uplifting.

I wonder how much the jubilee made. All the flags sold, all the bunting sold. All the drinks , food etc x

club shhh

I loved the full vibe of it! Everyone’s been on such good spirits and I think it what’s been needed after such a negative time lately. But I’m looking forward to a good detox and gym session! I’ll be sweating alcohol out my pores! 4days partying is hard work haha x

It was worth it for the bank holiday alone

"Do you all think it was worth all the money that been spent on it?"

I don't think it was worth spending 50p on.

Not to everyones taste I know and people will be upset about the monies spent on it.

I enjoyed it, I know I will never see platinum jubilee ever again.

Something that should and has been recognised.

Yes was worth it but the jury will be split on this on the Forum. I must confess I’m biased, I’m a Royalist and a huge admirer of Her Majesty.

I think it’s been great to see so many people get involved and have fun. This weekend will go down in history and you can’t put a price on memories

I'm happy that some people took part and enjoyed themselves immensely.

I am also happy that I took no part in it whatsoever and also enjoyed myself immensely.

I love a jubilee, but hate it when all the flavour goes.

No.

I was working all over it.

So much money was spent on it that could have gone to food banks and before anyone says anything we donate to food banks.

It went on far too long..4 days is overkill.

Glad Randy Andy wasnt there.

I managed to avoid it on tv.

No one within our neighbourhood had any bunting, flags or parties which was great.

Only plus side was Boris and Carrie getting Boos.

It’s was all rather joyful round here. It brought the community together and that’s a good thing.

I enjoyed the concert

We missed most of what was on TV but the clips we watched were spectacular.

We’re not really a nation of ostentatious carnivals but yesterday was superb display

Avoided it all, so no idea if it was worth the money or not. I suppose for 4 days, some people were able to be cheerful and celebratory. Before returning to reality with a bump this morning.

Loved it and yes I do think it was worth it. As said above we are never going to see another Platinim Jubilee ever again and ER will be the last Queen for however long.

I liked it though I’m a republican. Better than lockdown nothing happening anywhere…except Downing Street.

Should have had more rock bands at the concert. Queen were good though.

Wonder how much of the bunting, flags etc were made in the UK? And not by our paymaster in China?

Only saw the concert live on tv and the parade on catch-up.

I was scratching my head at some trying to work out who on earth they where. I had to turn to Google to find out but that's only after I found out what they were named. The Concert was ok but it needed more, I kept expecting them to announce them bringing Queen back on to energise the crowd a bit more.

The parade was lovely, especially the communities displays, the celebrity buses seemed redundant just made me laugh though, if you watch the difference between the buses marked from the 50/60's v the 2000/2010 buses, the icons and events that happened in each decade is remarkably fewer.
