Animal Protestors

Under the banner of Animal Rebellion and the like we have had in the last few days.. protestors causing havoc on the Queens parade, a woman disrupting the French Open Tennis and the Derby Horse Race.. is this justified and what does it do for Animals and what should be done with these protestor types..

Personally I think the French had the right idea when they overthrew their monarchy and I also think they still have the right idea when they practically riot for anything and everything.

Animal protestors do it for the shock value; and it’s not new. Suffragettes threw themselves under horses for women’s rights (the King’s Horse specifically). If it’s what’s get the message out then so be it. It’s obviously causing conversation.

I think in this day and age Tom folk would rather sign an online Petition to air their grievances where they aren’t put to too much inconvenience and can crack on with their School run or motorway journey in peace.

Trouble is online petitions don't really achieve much unfortunately. Some people are very passionate about the mistreatment of animals. Fair play to them

Absolutely spot on. Actions speak louder than words. Regardless if you agree with what they are protesting against or not. They feel so passionate about something and are willing to take action to have their voices heard. You have to admire that. If you don't stand up and stick to your views in times of question then they are not views they become a hobby. So long as it is kept peaceful we should always have the right to protest.
