Cheeseville, Somerset

All manner of possible reasons.

Fantasist who just like a chat.

Not really single and OH changed their plans so no longer free.

Had a wank instead.

Got a better offer.

The list is endless and unfortunately you'll never know.

No idea how much planning went into the meet so can't comment on that but the more groundwork you do in advance then often the likelihood of being stood up diminishes.

A

First rule of fab - If they let you down once, they will again.

I've never had this, but then by the time I arrange to meet someone I already know them pretty well.

It can't not happen after a while. It's the law of averages. That and the multiplicity of things that can go wrong in this area! It's all about building those reliable contacts - or even unreliable ones, that you at least understand when they say sorry they can't make it!

agree with this ....thing is most are very easy to spot early on and they hit the block list ...really cant rember the last time we got let down not the last 3 or 4 years .....

It happens... It's really annoying, but what can you do?! I've had it happen with people I know well... Even more of a let down!
