Not a fan of this geezer, I still think they are better artist out there who could sing with Queen.

He's definitely lost his touch since he gained weight!

I’ve personally never been a fan of Adam Lambert, again it’s nothing against the lad. Just no replacing Freddy Mercury

He's a brilliant vocalist and performer. He's not trying to replace Freddie he honours him. Great stage presence and he sings queen as himself not trying to imitate Freddie.

Our son has been involved with the staging of the latest Queen tour. Sufficient to say he's been very impressed with Brian etc.

I agree, he's very talented, but I wouldn't have picked him for that.

If he's gained weight around his middle and chest it will compress his diaphragm and make it harder to hold the longer notes, reduce his energy in performing, just off the top of my head

Yet, Luciano Pavarotti managed to bang out a note or two, despite his rotund middle. Plenty of opera singers are of the larger body type and seem quite able to hold several notes.

I think Adam has a great voice. He's being himself and not trying to sound like Freddie. Obviously there's no replacing Freddie Mercury but Adam is definitely the best man for the job x

Agree with several others. Freddie was, in my opinion, the greatest ever. He can't be replaced.

So Adam sings the songs his way as a tribute to Freddie. Trying to imitate him would be impossible

Mama Cass also never seemed to have a problem

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Personally don't like his voice. He seems to be helping Queen be very popular though, so it's just me!

Pavarotti was a classically trained Tenor and was large from the beginning, admittedly he yo yoed up and down but his lowest was about 250lbs so presumably he was used to it.

Makes no odds to me, I love Adam's work with Queen but thought I'd offer a possible explanation

I saw queen several times in original line up. Adam Lambert will never replace Freddie Mercury. I will say Lamberts voice and interpretation of Queens songs work.

I thought we looked a bit nervous at the Jubilee concert so that could have affected him. I think the main concerts are going well though.
