Do you want a new friend from mikes away or a mere acquaintance nice and close?

Distance doesn’t matter too much if there’s a willingness to meet. Saying that - close would help

I am more than happy to travel generally but I see your point.

If he's miles away he'll want me to stay over so I don't have to travel too much in one day, or be on a train alone at night.

As most men don't want that I decline offers from men miles away.

Friends from miles away can work - it’s simply about communicating openly and managing one another’s expectations, with regards how regularly you might be able to get together?

Invite them to you, problem solved?

I realised a while ago I become attracted to people a lot more than geography.

Totally agree what’s better than a weekend away non rushing and really enjoy things socially and sexually

How far is miles away?

I've got no problem traveling an hour or so, I'm in the middle of nowhere with rubbish roads so that's probably only 40 miles

I meant invite them to travel to you, not directly to your home

Or meet during the day, if that’s possible. X

I’ve seen profiles on FAB stating nobody will be considered outside a 5 mile radius. Can you imagine how limiting that must be, unless you’re in a densely populated city (which I am not!).

I know the feeling but travel way more than an hour for work so

For a weekend away I’d go most places tbh

If I were gay or bi, I would be in sexual fantasy heaven. The amount of guys on fab within 5 miles is unreal.
