Tom read the papers for the first time in a while. One paper said that they were booed and looked anxious. One paper said they were cheered and looked relaxed. Tom watched them arrive on TV and he did no hear any booing however he does not trust the BBC not to strategically placed the microphones to suit their own ends...

Shouldn't watch the BBC then.

I feel sorry for them both. They seem to be trying to fit into this new world they have created. Just hope they are happy and healthy. Hopefully no more interviews about their own family saying such negative things. Hopefully they have learnt from the wrongs of their past.

You’re obviously a little naive if you think they have microphones that can pick up boos for certain people and not others

They could obviously turn them down, but it would be difficult to be sure who would do what in the audience- except of course for Bozo, who is now pretty much seen universally as a hypothetical muppet and waste of space

Yeah there were a few boos they tried to hide it on some channels but you could still just here wasn't many and I think they was near the mics

It’s as if they think Prince Harry who served in Afghanistan isn’t strong enough to make his own decisions

Its incredible that if a man moves in a situation like this it's a woman making him and he's under the thumb, if a woman does it she's following her man like a woman should.

Exactly. I can think of one more reason people dislike her but people don’t like to talk about that.

I wouldn’t boo them but I would have no interest in them, they are an irrelevance. The Queen is the main event. Once they are back in the States they can become the main attraction again.

I'd be surprised if they were booed, certainly nothing like the disgusting specimen of our species who has degraded the title bestowed on him, by Conservative party members, who voted him into it, not to mention the contempt for democracy and Parliament.

They've gone their own way for now, something that we've all taken for granted ourselves. I'd be a hypocrite if I judged them for living as I do

At a service in celebration of a grandmother's jubilee I think close family members have every right to be centre stage wherever they move to.

it’s so true. Genuinely everyone liked him more when he was being blatantly racist than they do now. That’s kinda funny.

It's interesting (to me anyway) how history repeats itself. When Queen Victoria was dying the rest of her family attempted for various reasons to keep her eldest grandson away.I

I'm not suggesting that HRH is dying.

None of our royals actually take our taxed and if they did it would be approximately 50p per person per year.

Boris was an embarrassment! He did not read well and he looked like a dishevelled school drop-out rather than a world statesman!

He might have done well to take in the content of his reading though - someone had a sense of humour giving him the responsibility to read about service, honesty, good leadership and integrity!

It seems she's giving Charles, Anne and William more 'chances' to do roles for her. I'm glad she's taking it more easy.

And it's lovely that her family could be at her service.

Saw her come onto the balcony for fly past...looked very frail...though appeared very perky going back in...

Re history repeating itself..First time a monarch missed taking salute at trooping the colour since she herself represented her father the year before his death...

I'll say no more

The Queen surrenders all the profits from the crown estate and receives a % of it back.

If she kept it and paid tax on it she would be better off and the government (public) would be worse off.
