Has anyone noticed how M&S ready cooked meals has reduced in quality and quantity over the past few years? I mean some of the food at Aldi is just as good yet is so much cheaper! I use to love food at M&S but I'm so sure anymore.

I don’t think I’ll pay too much attention to the food views of somebody who admits to eating cold soup and raw eggs

Yep!

Didn't mind paying a bit more as you knew it would be nice but not now and stopped shopping there as a result. For me their food was their flagship but they're the equivalent to a used tyre destined to the scrap heap just a matter of when.

Yep!

So I'm not the only one who noticed this. I use to really like their Italian and Japanese food, but it totally went down hill lately.

I don't shop in Marksies often.

The clothes are for Grannies or comfy mums.

The food is rather over prepared for me...... it's excellent quality tho. No one could complain about the quality. Quantity yes. Pricing yes - Quality no.

I don't buy meat in Waitrose anymore because the bank will no longer give mortgages or other unsecured loans...... their quality is excellent too.

"Were you discussing this at work?"

Oh yes, food and supermarket 'rip off' are always open season for discussions at work. Actually my favourite is Morrisons for quality and value. They do good meat and fish. Always fresh.

You must work in sales or the office. Because if you was a working man with your hands you would have told me. No offence.
