"You should always eat toast cold.

Fact. "

There are situations where cold toast is nice. But as a general rule its best hot and straight out of the toaster, straight to butter and jam or marmite. I must add though cold soup(tomatoe) is so good.

Yes throw them in dungeon. How dare they imply its ok to have cold toast with jam? Why its a cardinal sin.

Cold(ish) toast….hate toast where the butter has melted and soaked in. Marmalade of course.

Hefty Hideaway

When I was a teen, I worked in a holiday camp food hall serving the food. I used to love a slice of toast that had gone cold and a bit chewy from sitting in the Bain marie. I’m vile. I know

I love toast hot from the toaster spread with melting butter.

I also enjoy toast cold, spread with cold butter and marmalde.

The most important thing is that the toast is well-browned. I can't stand limp, pale, barely crisped 'toast'.

Oh, nothing up with that smothered in butter. Nothing can't be improved with butter

Vegan cheese tastes gooey unfortunately

If using for scrambled egg you need to let the toast cool a bit or it goes soggy

This thread is changing my mind.....a tiny bit

My wife does this. Toast bread then stacks them together in a pyramid fashion for it to "dry" before buttering.

WTF??? Absolute reptile

And also must be properly toasted, jot that lukewarm bead they sometimes they serve you at cafes or when they use those oven toasters that just do one side of the slice only.

"Elephants aren't."

Feed an elephant a stick of butter, and you'll have a happier elephant. I'd say that's an improvement.
