Rant thursday

Here we are again, rant thursday, the week just flies by.

My rant is....

Have been chating to a single guy for several weeks now, who is relatively new to the sit. We have arranged to meet for a coffee a few times, but at last minute he has cancelled, but always said, dont give up on me, so have given him the benefit of the doubt each time. This weekend, we invited him to join us at a party, snd he seemed very keen, he messaged us last night to say he was going on a stag weekend. I understand life and stuff etc, but now beginning to think its time to delete. What do you lot think? Be gentle

Block and delete, if it's a stag weekend, he would have known about it eons ago, it just sounds like an excuse to me.

well it does sound a bit iffy to say the least...seems to find an excuse sorrty reason not to meet you each time, yes he could nervous even a little shy, but aren't we all at the beginning..if it were us we'd say to him look, maybe you need more time and get back to us etc...know how you fel tho..never give up xx

I think you must think that there is something special about him to give him so many chances. So many one more chance but tell him if he cancels again you'll cut contact. The fact he's only just told you he's got a stag is worrying though, I'd have presumed he'd have know about it for awhile?

Thats what we think too. He has a cheeky face. We have even said to him, are you still interested, and he response yes, but will take your advice thank you

It wouldn't have got to a few times... One more chance if someone cancels with prior notice the first time. If they cancel a 2nd time... I move on.

Bound to be married with kids. Have to agree Stag doo's are hardly arranged a few days before. Block and Delete him.

Or just nervous ? Or likes the chase but not the kill ? Or gets off on the chats / expectation ?

Either way, I think his chances would now be over.

That's the thing with a cheeky face tho - I am with you OP, a cheeky face sometimes is just too hard to give up on

Can understand nerves, weve all been there, hence meeting for coffee.

But even a cheeky face can run out of chances, time to move on me thinks
