Curly or straight?

I've decided to try and embrace my hair instead of constantly frying it. Mines not straight, far from it but it's not curly. It's frizzy mess!

So my question is your hair curly or straight?

Are you happy with it? Or wish you had something different?

What do you find more attractive, straight or curly hair on someone else?

And if anyone has any advice please throw some my way, day 2 and my roots are frizzy

Mine has gone from curly to frizzy!! It’s always got that dragged through a hedge look!!

Straighteners are my best friend but to curl it, I don’t like it straight !

My hair is naturally poker straight, for years I permed it, curled it with various methods until about 4 years ago. I now love my straight hair and have found hairstyles and lengths that suit me but also give me flexibility to curl my hair occasionally.

I feel you!

I have wavy/curly frizzy wild untameable hair.

I've tried all the fancy shampoos and creams.

Best thing I've found for it, £1.99 banana shampoo bar.

Mine falls naturally into ringlets but then goes frizzy. I hate it, so I almost always straighten it. I wouldn't want it curly all the time even if it was smooth, so there's no point doing the curly girl methodas I'd never go without straighteners for long enough.

Mines wavy/frizzy/birds nest depending on the day and time. It's a pain in the arse but I also love it really. Dead straight hair doesn't suit me.

When I had hair it was neither of the two you mention.

I shave my head regularly. I spend £0 on my hair. Except for clippers every few years. They last for yonks.

If you need a free shave - I'd be happy to do it. However, I've been told I'm not gentle when I do it for others. Sorry!

I'm not bothered what hair she has as long as she turns up.....

I'd love to know how much women spend on their heads though. Just for my own curiosity. What is the average price for a hair cut?

I have the most ridiculously curly hair, it can be seen on my profile in a fair few of my photos. I can't even straighten it as a tiny bit of moisture in the air and it's curly again. I hate the faff involved, I can't just get up, brush and go. Can't wear it down for a meet either as it would end up looking like a bird's nest.

I have curly 4a/4b hair. I used to hate it and think it made me ugly. Internalised a lot of shit.

I love curly hair on others if it is natural. Especially Black women with their natural fro . But I like people to rock their hair however they want and if it looks good it looks good. I definitely don’t think straight hair looks ‘better’.

Has to be washed, conditioned, brushed, gelled, dried, scrunched, sprayed, frizz serum applied and all sorts every day if I want it to look nice. It can't be brushed dry, and any sort of hairstyle other than a short or long bob doesn't work. Once it's done, any vigouous activity just turns it into a frizzy cloud.

I have curly hair. Ridiculously curly. I've internalised beauty ideals that it should be straight for me to be sexy or professional so if I'm feeling a bit nervous, I'll have it blow dried so I can blend more easily. But, I'm growing to love my curls. The more I love this and not try and fight them, the better they look.

I have curly hair and i love it. It gets curlier as i get older. It's almost shoulder length although longer if pulled straight.

I never straighten it.

I wash and condition it every day using Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioner. Comb it then leave it to dry naturally.

Mine is part wavy, part loose curls, with odd random bits that go into corkscrew curls if left to their own devices. All of it is frizzy. It's a nightmare to try and keep it under control, the slightest bit of moisture in the air and I might as well not have bothered styling it I have a near permanent just fucked look.

I prefer it straightened, but not poker straight. And I would have absolutely no qualms about fighting someone to the death if they tried to take my GHD's from me

Curly here too. Can be a frizz ball. Best thing I ever did was binning off the shampoo.

Just wash your hair with conditioner. Once a month I shampoo.

And moroccan oil curl cream. Bit expensive but lasts ages.

Went from hating my curly hair to not hating it.

Women I have no preference, curl are good and so is straight.

Wavy hair here.

Though tend to just chuck it up day to day for work.

Usually do loose curls for going out.

Leaving my hair to naturally dry instead of using hairdryer and stopping straightening my hair, and using hair conditoning treatments helped my frizzyness. But it took time.

I ocasionally use a clean mascara wand with light hold hairspray to tame any flyaways.
