When you used to give someone your phone number, and you’d wait for them to call you on your landline.

Oh the days of early romance and the nervous wait for the ring. Can you believe, I was not the shy wallflower I am now - I sometimes made that call first

Do you miss those times?

in the deep mist of the valleys

I do miss my memory remembering telephone numbers. Now, I would struggle to remember my friends and family of the top of my head.

Chapping a friends door and asking their parents if they are coming out to play.

Much simpler times they were

Playing chap door run after school with everyone in your street.

I'd love someone to do this to my door now. Would restore my faith in the youth of today

St Austell

Pre-internet, I got into this whole scene through phone chatlines - met a few wives playing solo and my first couple where hubby just watched through them...
