About a hotel room

Even short stays in this country, I do so love the checking in, the ‘oooo’ when I walk through the door and see a lovely made bed.

I might just get a hotel in my area just for some quality ooooo me time

Don’t you agree? There just something about knowing you don’t have to clean those sheets that results in them being more dirty

I do too. Always pull the sheets off the bed. Ever since I stayed in a quite expensive hotel in Devon. Got in bed to find cockroaches with loads of their little baby cockroaches! I proceeded to stand on the chair and not move whilst he went and found someone. To be told it’s because our room was above the kitchen! To the restaurant we’d just eaten in!

Been a while since I checked in. Was on some training last year and it was lovely to go and chill, grab some chocolate and munch in bed watching tv.

Love booking a room with a partner , visiting a different place, bit of shopping, cocktail or coffee. Get back, snooze, get changed, go out for a meal. Perfect.

Short breaks are lovely and often much more relaxing than a long holiday that you have to plan so much for. A couple of nights away in a lovely hotel can be so good as long as its a nice room with a nice view and of course an amazing breakfast. We should share details of such little gems. I started a thread before but only few people posted about nice Hotels and b&bs they enjoyed. The threads if you want to contribute are:

The best of series - B&B

The best of series - Hotels UK

and there are some for restaurants etc ... as below if you also want to contribute too.

I'm not a fan tbh, think I tired of them staying in them a lot with work. They make me feel a bit stifled and the pillows are never comfy for me. I prefer a lodge or cottage. Somewhere with a little kitchen so I can just grab something to eat or drink when I feel, a living room so I can chill out on the sofa and a bit of outdoor space so I can sit outside when I want. I do love getting breakfast delivered to the room though.

I love a wee night away myself in a hotel. Last time I did this the neighbours were very noisy so I just went for dinner and read my book for a while, came back to the room and they were still partying, so went for a nice bath and watched a movie on my iPad, came out bath about 11, still partying so ended up downstairs reading my book in a quiet corner till security asked if I was ok as by this point it was 1am. They went upstairs and told them to turn the music off as it could be heard right along the corridor.

So went back to my room to listen to her shouting to him that’s it I’m coming that’s it I’m coming to be honest she said that for ages and I’m not sure she ever did cum
