I am staying in Leeds in a couple of weeks and taking some clients out for dinner. Can anyone recommend anywhere to eat?

Try 'Little Tokyo' if you like Japanese food.

But its not a real fancy place, so it depends if you want 'up-market'. The food is very good though.

Tamanna's is ok but if you are at Ainley Top you might as well hop on the motorway for 15 mins to Bradford to Mumtaz in Bradford.

The Mint hotel have an amazing restaurant. From memory (probably wrong) Wharf street has a good seafood restaurant and a upmarket steak place. I am hazy on this as I use my work nights in Leeds to get pissed!!!

If you like Thai, there is a new Sukothai that opened just off park row, also at the top of their is a Gaucho, if you like really really expensive steaks.

All round that area you have plenty of restaurants, down Greek Street there is an Akbars as well if you fancy an indian.

Never eaten at Bibi's so can't vouch for the food, but it's a fancy Italian just down the road from the train station.

Cafe Guru has closed down, it was always dead whenever I walked past it.

Antony's in Leeds.

Fucking amazing kick ass meal. Will test your boundaries and concepts

Boar lane if I remember correctly.

One of the best young chefs in the UK, think he did Great British Menu 2/3 years ago.

IMO best place in leeds/ yorkshire.

Ooh this is my home town so easy for me

For Italian go to Bibis

For fish go to Loch Fyne at City Square

For Indian (and that's my favourite) I would go to akbars if in the centre or get a taxi to Morley and go to Table 27 - outstanding food and service!

There is also the new Trinity shopping centre open on Briggate with so many nice restaurants and bars in, Alchemist and Botanist are best in there for cocktails...
