"This place may be distracting or "something to do" but generally it would add to anxiety, not reduce it. Switching off an hour before bed, meditation, and writing down your anxieties are all examples of things you're better off doing. Browsing the forums to treat anxiety is like drinking to treat a headache " Unfortunately the most effective ways of helping anxiety are generally uncomfortable because they open you up to the feelings and sensations that you find hard to cope with. I think it’s unlikely that people will want to do that when they’re awake in the early hours. Meditation is a good call but I’m not surprised that somebody would turn to their phone as a way to get out of their own head for a while | |||
