Sussex

A movie about a young soldier separated from his unit during a riot in Belfast. 1971 story on the screen is almost in real time. Pretty harrowing at times. Even right at the end the viewer doesn't know who will survive.

"Ben hur"

How about the raid on the navy airfield in Tora Tora Tora. Or the cavalry charge out of the desert in Lawrence of Arabia. I like the old epic movies.- No green screen shenanigans.

Mel Gibsons

Apocalypto

Epic movie, visually stunning, tour de force !

The waterfall scene, where Jaguar Paw...jumps off and the Mayan warriors follow him.

The movie was visually stunning and action packed from the beginning to the very end.

Always amazes me how they did the original top gun to look so good without modern technology, every scene was actually believable ,so incredible considering it was 1989 ,and most other movies from that era look so dates now.

Togun is timeless

I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise. However I applaud the fact the man does all his own stunts he’s got some balls on him.
