Anybody ever use phone chatlines? Way before fab or other apps

Phone call chatlines,and party lines.

Way before fab,apps etc .

Lol a mate of mine got coaxed into calling another number. When he did it was a premuim rate line. On the other end a very mature lady doing all her house work earnimg a nice wager. Lol

No ,they were called chatlines,hear a add of person online. Could be interest of music,various likes etc. And go on a one to one chat if some agree.

I have heard of the sex lines. Mostly men paying a high rate just to talk dirty and to wank off over.

It was voice messages, you could set up a voice mail box, or listen to messages off people online or go into group chat rooms.

I confess went through a short period using them...phone bill soon stopped it.!!!!

But what are the chances of actually stumbling on someone you'd had an encounter with and had normal phone chat with..

Thought her voice was familiar...but she recognised mine

I had loads off meetings off chatlines.

And wapchat, wapchat was really good it was the early online chat service across most mobile phones, when you did a profile you'd put your landline area code to match with people in different areas.

Very good for people travling with work.

Had tons meets off the switch,carousel

Back on the early 2000,s no camera phones. The girls/ladies were half decent,honest with their descriptions etc. Some were same day chat and evening meets. Met one had a FWB's for four yrs. Best sex n vibe ever.

Not feeling that vibe off fab since being on here since april 2021.
