The same holiday is £283 pp with two going £456 for 1 going!

I go on my own and I book flight and accommodation separately and usually self catering, rather than a hotel

This is what I do; costs can be kept down by shopping around I feel that I have more choice than when my travel is tied to my accomodation.

Island hoping in Greece, with a friend , met some interesting Europeans ..

If you use hostels the pricing is per person anyway and you get to meet loads of interesting people.
