"I love Moulin Rouge! Bet it’s great on the big screen. But did walk out of AI, just got so bored " I've got to admit Sci Fi isn't my thing so I with you on A.I. The House at the End Of the Street starring Jennifer Lawrence was an absolute yawnfest. I never left the cinema but I did witness a couple leave.

"Have you ever wanted to walk out of the cinema? We all love the big screen cinema experience with the surround sound technology and advanced imagery it offers. It's a fairly cheap night/date where you can kiss and canoodle with that special other or maybe you're with your mates seeing something ladish. Nonetheless it's usually a good experience, it's not event as such but its a pleasureable experience. I'll be honest I'll like to sit away from others as I like to mitigate the risk of being next to someone who may kick my chair whilst I'm enjoying the movie or to avoid hearing someone chattering on ? I sound like a grump ha ha. I've really digressed from the title of the Post so have you ever wanted walk out of a movie???? Well I remember going to see the biggish movie at the time Moulin Rouge 2001. Oh my, from the moment that movie started I hated it. In all fairness back then I'd never seen a musical in my entire life. The bright lights, the music, I felt nauseous. I wanted to leave but the cinema was rammed pack and worse still the crowd were loving it. My options were to remain seated, to see it through, be stoic and it would soon be over? I'll be honest the only saving grace was Nicole Kidman in her stockings and they sung one song I knew (Kiss, I was made for loving you) Please feel free to share any of your experiences ? I'm sure you've all got lots of funny tails to share. " Yes, but never because of the film. Other people ruin the cinema these days, and that’s why we don’t go. Loads of people talking loudly and messing around with their phones. Some even recording the film. But Mr isn’t very shy at coming forward in those situations. If you’re talking so loudly that people are distracted he’ll tell you to shut up. He’s had people kicked out plenty of times. But tbh the hassle and cost of tickets (and fairly poor offering over the last few years (even before covid) make it a waste of time, money and effort for us

Saturday night, ignorant knob heads talking and throwing stuff around. One guy stood up to them all after a shoe was thrown off his head, he told them all to shut up, a full scale fight broke out in the cinema. Apparently people just waded in with their fists flying. The Police arrived and made arrests. Bless she hardly got the opportunity to go the cinema. Begbie would have been proud.

"I don't think I have. I just have a snooze instead. " Ha ha, definitely that. I've definitely snoozed through some kids movies.

This description reads like being stuck on a fair ride you're not enjoying! Very funny. Only ever walked out once, the film was terrible but also the seating was so hard and uncomfortable! Making the "snooze escape" option impossible.

Indeed it did sound like being on scary theme park ride, with the exception of the Smiler Alton Towers all theme park rides last 3 mins max. Moulin Rouge was 2 hrs 7 mins long and the wait to get on the Smiler was 3 hours? Not sure which was worse ? "Yes! When my wife made me watch all 3 50 shades films. Even the tits couldn’t keep me interested. " Those films are wank.

"The Lion King, the musical, twice, I think seen 50 to 70% of it now. I have drifted off to a much better place. Maybe one day. " Was that at the theatre?? I saw it once, I really wasn't a fan even though I loved the movie.

There's quite a difference in the cost of Theatre ticket compared to cinema ticket.

"I do know of someone who was so disgruntled with a movie that they stood up at the end and booed it. Seems extreme. You've got to be real movie buff to do that. The movie was The Grey starring Liam Neeson." What ?? Amazing film that is haha

Imagine being in the cinema watching him boo the movie. How bizarre

"I don’t find the cinema a pleasant experience anymore - there are just too many people talking and playing on their phones. It’s all so unnecessary. " It genuinely confuses me. Is it that they don't know how to whisper, or they just don't care if they disturb other people?
