Hi Folks I will be staying in Salford Quays on the weekend of the 18th and 19th June, I am looking for nice but cheap places to eat in the area. I dont know Manchester at all, its a first time visit apart from one of the socials a few years back, whicj I was brought to by a fellow Fab user, and help and surgestions would be great

It’s Manchester. It’s one or the other.

Hit the metro link and pop onto town and you’ll have plenty of choice.

But media city has some lovely bars and Resteraunts And the Lowry shopping centre on the quays has a food hall. Cafe rouge and a carvary

Nip into The Rovers Return, the hotel a lady and I stayed in when going to the MLS a few years ago had panoramic views across the entire site

Listen mate I'm from Salford and the only place to be is Salford shopping centre. Get yourself to Greggs and support the local charity shops. Maybe stay in the luxury Premier Inn by the Trafford Centre if you want to experience superb shopping trips and a possible stabbing.

I live over the road from the quays. Match stick man is alright for pub food etc. Don't get on tr tram the wrong way and end up in eccles. It's like the wild west if your into music visit the Salford lads club. I may be there doig tours
