A royal-mad pub has kicked off Britain’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations by changing its name and carving a spectacular throne from classic Roast Dinner ingredients.

The Bramley Farm in Altrincham, Manchester, has rebranded as Ma’amhouse Inns in a tribute to Her Majesty ahead of her 70-year anniversary as monarch.

Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and vegetables have been spectacularly arranged by food artist Nathan Wyburn to mark the occasion.

Buckingham Palace superfans and pub managers Julianne Martin and Donna Pilling said it shows their “passion” for the Jubilee.

Julianne buzzed: “We’re all so excited about the Platinum Jubilee, and this incredible throne perfectly combines our love of all things royal with Farmhouse Inns’ best-in-class carvery.

Whatever will be created next....
