Very well said. Sometimes there is some serious toxic posts on this forum, this however is a very nice positive post. I'm fat too and I've had it with people calling me I'm fat, I am what I am it's never stopped me doing things and it certainly hasn't stopped me being a swinger.

I’m fat and I have no problem describing myself as such. When people come into my dms projecting their insecurities onto me telling me to lose weight or join a gym etc it’s just embarrassing!!

One of my favourite poems is ‘I say I am fat he says no you are beautiful, I wonder why I cannot be both’ ever since I read it it changed my life.

Fat people’s existence isn’t political and I wish more people understood that!

Absolutely spot on. I am fat also. I give my exact weight and height in the first part of my profile to out anyone who's looking for a skinny girl.

My photos are deceptive because I'm not standing next to a "normal" sized person but if I were, I'd look huge next to them.

And I'm perfectly fine with that. I may not be everyone's cup of tea, but there is someone for everyone, fat, thin, short or tall.

Love that you own your curves. You're lovely, and anyone who has the audacity to message you saying otherwise isn't worthy

I am also fat! There, I said it!! I wasn’t before i started having to take steroids and autoimmune medication, but thus is life and I’ve actually never been happier than how I am now!

I jumped on the scales a couple of days ago and to my surprise had lost about 1.5stone - something I’ve massively struggled to do in the last 8 years since diagnosis!

Would I like to be slimmer? Yes. But actually, like I said, I’ve never been happier than how I am now and never felt more confident.

Exactly being fat isn't the worse thing in the world its mainly just a preference for ppl.

I prefar to be fat than skinny no matter how many ppl call me fat it won't make me change my mind!! The problem is with them not me!!

If you don't like bigger ppl then scroll on and leave them alone...as I would skinny folk!

People's weight shouldn't affect you unless they are sitting on our face simple lol

Fat is also a solid, which can be heated to turn into a liquid, but when it's cooled or cold it goes back to a solid or semi solid state.

As a fat person, I know first hand that you can only lose weight or do whatever achievement you want to do if you’re truly committed .

Nobody should make you feel bad . Only you can make yourself feel bad . Stop caring what others think, they’re not important. Or make them unimportant to you.

I'm fat. After my last heart attack, the paramedics had to call another crew to help get me down the stairs. I vowed that any future heart attacks I have will take place downstairs.

I’m fat too. Again not promoting it, but I’m comfortable in my body (after many years of trying unsuccessfully to change it). We all need to look after our health and well-being, but that’s as much about mental health as it is cholesterol and BMI. I simply wasn’t happy when I was constantly trying to be someone I couldn’t.

People pick partners for all kinds of reasons - and it’s not our job to judge them for it. But I agree with the OP - if we’re not your thing, move on…
