Ever hosted a party with a lavish spread and plenty of booze then only to find half your guests want only tap water or a cup of tea?

I have twice so no more from us.

I’ve done a BBQ with friends 4 couples. All the women had soft drinks and continued to moan about how loud the guys were getting.

I’m not saying people should drink to have fun, but when other are having fun and drinking, don’t bring them down.

People don’t know how to enjoy themselves.

Recently we had friends over for dinner as they had once done the same for us. I did a mighty roast beef with lots of trimmings. He scoffed but she picked at the food and drank just water despite giving me a bottle of wine. Then they rushed off before dessert as obviously had better things to do. Maybe it’s just me?
