Waitrose put 20p on oysters recently. Then another 10p this week making them £1.10 each.

I mean they just get cut them off a piece of rope somewhere in the U.K. don’t they?

I’ll only buy them now when on offer.

What else has gone up drastically?

They were the food of the poor and are highly nutritious. Not all of us want chicken everyday.

You could cut costs and use the servants spunk instead. The taste is very similar.

Worthing

Sounds a bit sad, but I've got a food price weekly spreadsheet on the go. Nothing gone up in 1 week on my usual list yet.

There is no such thing as fresh AND frozen. Aldi food, like Tesco et al, is not remotely fresh and is packed full of nasties. It's cheap for a reason.

Loch Fyne branded. They go amazingly well with a nice blue steak.

The problem is things havnt gone up 1p, 2p, 5p , they have gone up 30/40/50p .. and it’s is everything .. we can’t be hit no more, the whole country is struggling money wise, lockdown has increased mental health problems, ther are no police on the streets, no doctors to see you, dentists don’t want to know and no hospital beds.. And the streets are now just a war zone …. We are living in hell ( forgot petrol

Not had to pay a penny more this year for the fresh air supply. That’s about the only thing not going up at the moment.

I've been seriously considering turning getting another freezer for game products. Stopped buying biscuits and crisps, done some baking this past week. This week, going to have a crack at doing crisps in the air fryer.

Lol...I have never come away from Aldi without something that I'm pretty sure I will never even take out the box. Current selection includes a router (plus several a boxes of bits), a mig welder and an uncountable number of socket sets...although I have used these, attested to by the fact that the 10mm socket is missing from all of them
