I've seen several topics where someone comments on something they think is harmless, but if you look at it in a certain light it has dark or uncomfortable undertones.

They see it as a little fun, you see it as hinting at something totally inappropriate.

An example being flashing boobs on the motorway or ogling someone because you can see their junk through tight fitting clothing.

Do you just keep shtum or call out what you feel is inappropriate?

If you feel something is not appropriate call it out. People don’t have to agree with you. I’ve been shot down many times by people who see things differently or who’s own experience affords them a different perspective. I don’t blame or feel I’ll towards them. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and offence is subjective xx
