"Do men like being called daddy, if yes why?" Only by my kids and that was when they were little, on here I’m afraid it’s not for me. Being a chap of a certain age with a hairy chest and a belly I get this a bit as well.

"Do men like being called daddy, if yes why?" Ask this on another site op and you’ll get a very very different answer. Kinks have been shamed for a long time on this swinging site and most of those that would do something considered “very kinky” have long since left, or learned not to admit to anything. Even talking about kinks get you a time out too. .. I think.

It's fine to fuck 10 people at a club, but god forbid anyone enjoys something that's not vanilla. I've taken stuff off my interests list because I got hassle and creepy messages.

"Even talking about kinks get you a time out too. .. I think. " From what I remember when I was approached before its more about not discussing anything illegal or that refers to bodily harm as the forums are available for registered and non registered users. They do want to allow conversation, but not deal with any aggregation from upset third parties.

Me saying that’s disgusting you shouldn’t do that you’re weird is shaming . Me saying I find it creepy is me telling the truth. " I've never been into kink shaming. What adults do in their own time consentually with others is up to them. You'll also see people stating things like that. If something creeps someone out or they find it 'disgusting' then so long as they're purely expressing a personal opinion then that's fine. Stating that a specific act is disgusting full stop os different. I suspect anything related to age play will often get a more general negative response than other subjects because of potential connotations with other things that go on in the world. But there's a difference between adults role playing and what happens outside of that. I find marmite disgusting but others don't. I'll say out loud that I think it's disgusting. But thats me. If other sick, demented freaks want to eat that shit then it's all good. A

"I knew a few guy who loved it. Made him so fucking hard when he was fucking me, I didn’t ask why. But I also love his big dick getting rock hard so i went with it. " This , people use all sorts of fantasies in sex and are able to compartmentalise away from normal life, isn’t that why most are here? I’ve been with women who’ve liked to call me it, they love it and get off on it, the sex is amazing so I don’t call them out on it! I don’t crave it but it’s a sexual fantasy for them, who am I to judge

"So the overwhelming response is that it’s not a turn on for men nor women. I suspect many do like it but may also may be ashamed to say here which is weird because of the nature of this site. I’m curious to all those who don’t like it how do they feel about being called baby? People use babe or baby ALL the time and it’s not given a second thought. " Exactly the same way, if someone called me "Baby" during sex, its a turn off for me....... In everyday conversation the word "babe" is used in a totally different way altogether.

"Do men like being called daddy, if yes why? Ask this on another site op and you’ll get a very very different answer. Kinks have been shamed for a long time on this swinging site and most of those that would do something considered “very kinky” have long since left, or learned not to admit to anything. Even talking about kinks get you a time out too. .. I think. " Too right

"By the way I’m sorry to those that feel this descended into kink shaming. You’re free to do do what you like with consenting people. It’s not creepy or weird. Just not for me or others. Don’t think offence has been meant by anyone. " I hear you Steve, I think it's the word creepy that gets people into the kink. Normally you associate the word with an action that's directed towards you. For example the person was looking at me in a creepy way, the person put their hand on my waist as they tried to get to the bar was creepy. What people do in their own bedroom shouldn't creep anyone out.

Don’t think offence has been meant by anyone. " I think that language is important as is understanding. Whilst offence might not have been meant, adding value based language can demean. Freedom to say what you like is good but it works both ways. If I were to say that those demeaning and judging others were assholes, there would be hell to pay! It’s all value based language though. I think that a touch of awareness goes a long way. We’re all on a swingers site and do things that general society would consider deviant. There’s enough judgement already without adding to it ourselves. I think that the phrase; ‘your kink isn’t my kink but that’s ok’ or ‘don’t yuck someone else’s yum’, fit very well here and should be used more readily in reference to things that we might find a little less than mainstream

But I understand why someone might be upset by the use of the term creepy here. It reads judgementally even if not intended that way. And I think although we don’t have to change the way we word things, I don’t see the harm in doing so but I do see the positives of it and they’re worth it.

People who DON'T like beards can use some very choice language to express their outrage at what someone else does with their hair. (Apparently beards are "lazy", "untidy", "unclean", "disgusting", "smelly" and "make you look like a tramp" amongst plenty of other things) Invariably when I've called out this kind of behaviour I'm told I'm overreacting, a snowflake, I should "man up", and that I'm out of order for trying to stifle free speech. Apparently their freedom to be really unpleasant to complete strangers trumps my right to expect the bare minimum level of common courtesy.

As far as I have seen in this thread, no one has said 'I don't like the word Daddy and anyone who uses it needs their head examining'. I'd accept that being kink shaming. As would I " Yes, and no one has done that so it's a shame the thread was derailed with straw man arguments.

"So people who find the use of that word in a sexual context *personally* creepy must have their feelings invalidated ? No. Their feelings are perfectly valid as are those of those that feel that they’re being judged. Freedom of expression doesn’t work just one way. You can’t express your opinion freely without expecting recourse for those opinions. If you express your opinions with respect, then things are much better I don’t think anyone has been disrespectful on this thread. At all " I agree

"So people who find the use of that word in a sexual context *personally* creepy must have their feelings invalidated ? Yes and anyone who expresses a personally negative view of any sexual activity in relation to whether they like it or not must be kink shaming. So if there was a thread about fisting or double penetration or having sex with randoms at a club and I called them vile. That wouldn't get me flamed? That would be ok? Because any time I see value judgments used about other things - people are flamed. But it's fine when it's the kinky stuff because we're in the minority. Good that I know the rules now. "It would be SO nice if people could say that's not for me without using the word "creepy". " Think it depends on the dynamic like most things if it's consensual and it's between two adults. Live and let live it's like a Chanel on the TV if it's not for you get the remote and find something you like

"Do men like being called daddy, if yes why? Ask this on another site op and you’ll get a very very different answer. Kinks have been shamed for a long time on this swinging site and most of those that would do something considered “very kinky” have long since left, or learned not to admit to anything. Even talking about kinks get you a time out too. .. I think. There is no way in hell I would mention some of my kink here. It's very judgemental. It's fine to fuck 10 people at a club, but god forbid anyone enjoys something that's not vanilla. I've taken stuff off my interests list because I got hassle and creepy messages. " I like quite like being called Daddy, it’s kinda hot , it’s not really part of the DD/lg which I’m also into ! It’s just fun and playful in bed, I’m Into all kinds of verbal kink though My kids all call me by my first name! It’s if makes you feel offended or uncomfortable even discussing it, go see your therapist!

"It would be SO nice if people could say that's not for me without using the word "creepy". But if that's how it makes them feel are you asking them to not express their feelings freely? I have absolutely no problem with the term and clearly lots of people love it. I don't like it being said to me, it makes me cringe. Despite it being said many many many times before that people find the value judgements and kink shaming unpleasant - people still keep doing it. If it was another topic - like fat people - I don't think that you'd be arguing the same thing. " Do you want me to apologise for reading the thread and responding to the first post that I felt I needed to respond to? I didn't see the many many others disagreeing with you until afterwards. But it's ok, I'm clearly the one at fault here. Everyone is allowed an opinion, I'm allowed to voice mine. You can disagree with it. I'm not shaming you or anyone else. I also don't care who is or isn't fat, that's their body.

"As you can see it's a very polarising topic. I'm in the it's creepy camp and block anyone asking if they can call me mummy." I reckon each to their own. But have also blocked for being asked about being called mummy. Sexually it would not float my boat at all

At all " If I were to say that all people who have sex outside of their marriage are creepy or weird, would that be viewed the same way? I doubt it. Respect is about using language that you’d be happy hearing yourself. I respect the opinions of those that dislike it, I don’t respect the value based language used. Simply because it’s a more polarising topic, doesn’t mean that value based language is ok

"By the way I’m sorry to those that feel this descended into kink shaming. You’re free to do do what you like with consenting people. It’s not creepy or weird. Just not for me or others. Don’t think offence has been meant by anyone. I hear you Steve, I think it's the word creepy that gets people into the kink. Normally you associate the word with an action that's directed towards you. For example the person was looking at me in a creepy way, the person put their hand on my waist as they tried to get to the bar was creepy. What people do in their own bedroom shouldn't creep anyone out. The OP actually asks what men think about being called Daddy, and by extension some women have said what effect the word has on them. The word 'creepy' in that context is an absolutely valid opinion, nothing to do with judging others private behaviour" And I was replying to Steve's post. And wanted on a thread that was turning into an argument. The viewpoint of why some dislike the word creepy and why. Instead of discussing my opinion and yours on the term. And actually having a debate. It is you who has invalidated what I was saying. Please don't accuse me of something you yourself are doing, thanks
