…is incredible.

Worth the 35 year wait and it’s as cheesy and iconic as the first one

I smiled all the way through and it took me back to the mid-eighties again!

They didn’t go there!

But it’s pretty much Top Gun 1…which wasn’t a bad thing!

Hubby went on Thursday with his best friend from school who he hasn’t seen for a few years (both huge Top Gun nerds). He says it was absolutely everything he wanted it to be, and is going again next week with his Mum

Schoolboy levels of giddy excitement at Soze Manor as I count down the hours to going to see it tonight.

This has now ramped that up a bit more.

I’m taking my kids to see it today…so second time for me.

We watched the first one last night in anticipation.

It’s honestly one of the best sequels I’ve seen - pays homage to the first one perfectly.

I saw it yesterday & absolutely loved it.

I’m a huge fan of Top Gun 1, have watched it so many times I practically know all the lines.

But as you say.. the new one is a perfect homage to the original, very clever links to the original.

And bloody hell.. Tom Cruise is still looking fine!

Saw the film today. Was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. One of the best films I have watched in recent times after "Everything, everywhere, all at once".

Planning to even watching again on IMAX screen.

Loved it. 36 years was a lifetime to wait by and it didn’t disappoint. Years of going as maverick and goose to parties kept me hoping it would be made. Great nostalgia trip

They change the sport in this one but it’s still homo erotic and some slow motion naked buff chests all oiled up

"So am I reading things right - it's unoriginal & basically a re-boot? "

It references the first movie well…there’s scenes that are literally the first film.

It ties in perfectly with the first and considering it’s 36 years later, that wasn’t easy to do.

I came out of the cinema feeling good about it when I was expecting it to be a rubbish after so long.

I smiled throughout.. it was nostalgic but not unoriginal.. still lots of action etc… but I really enjoyed the continuation & links to the original. I guess if you loved the first one it works if you were indifferent to it maybe not so much.

I LOVED it! The hairs on my neck stood up from the opening bars of music at the beginning, and I left the cinema with a schoolboy grin. It was everything I hoped it would be. Nostalgia, silly plot, just enough cheese, and absolutely mind blowing aerial sequences.

Saw it last night. We thought it was incredible, the beat sequel ever made. The subtle nods to the original were superb and the actor cast as Rooster was spot on.

Im going again next week

Take me to the danger zone!!
