years ago went to a Sealed Knot event as a spectator, then a helper at a US Civil War event, now older and time on hands this sounds a fun and reat event. Not too far away either. I work in Wine Spirits and Beer so do have uses too

It's utterly amazing and relies on donations and camping fees.

The whole weekend is dedicated to the battle and medieval living.

No worries! 15th Century was at end of Medieval period so 17th Century would have been well out.

I think that's the plan, we'll still have the son but he'll get 2 choices, come with us or stay home 😁
