when you are in chat on fabs do you refer to it as being 'on line' or 'in chat'? I was sternly corrected by a member last night who told me it was fabs parlance to call being in chatroom 'on line' - I had not come across this, was he right or just making mischief with me??

when he had calmed down and stopped calling me a twat he seemed fairly nice. I think he's a bit odd but just wanted to check!

I'd have blocked him the first time he called me a twat.

I wasn't best pleased - not used to that kind of reaction - but then I dont expect to be sworn at - on here its not unusual - but still unacceptable IMO

I think it is unusual if you don't know the guy. Ok sometimes in banter sometimes I swap the odd swear word with friends but I'd calm it down to a fook or twot, but if he was being nice after it he was probably just trying to get your attention so suck it and see lol after he has bought you a drink first tho x

On line means to be connected to the internet doesn'tit?

Does that mean that when the news broadcasters say 'join us online....' they are actually parading in front of cams on here?
