Somewhere In The Ether…

This reminds me of the highly traumatic scene in the Doug McClure classic, The Land That Time Forgot wherein that bloody great pterodactyl chomped on and flew off with the friendly caveman dude.

That scene upsets me to this day it does

Mutherfucking thing! Why the fuck didn’t Doug save him?!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Who says early man in Argentina was wiped out?

And couldn't he have dodged into Chile to avoid it.

Dinosaurs couldn't fly. Do you mean a pterosaur? Quite different things.

Our Doug did a few of these monster themed fantasy films in the seventies including a sequel, namely, The People That Time Forgot, an adaptation of Jules Verne’s, Journey To The Centre Of The Earth and Warlords Of Atlantis

Are there any contemporaneous reports of said creature flying? Or is it all conjecture?

This dinosaur has been named the dragon of death by the diggers. Now to ask if it flew. Tom was not there but it had wings the size of a bus and with wings that big it is likely. Unless it was some sort of elaborate sun shade mechanism. This is all over the dinosaur news folks

It would have to be somewhere high that it could launch off because with wings that big, there's no way just flapping them would get it off the ground.

It could launch off the top of a double decker bus

We're not say it couldn't fly.

But that it's not technically a dinosaur.

Maybe the double decker would accelerate and the pterosaur would extend its wings.

Tom would not be arguing over whether it was a dinosaur or a petrosaur. Just run for cover you fools or be gobbled up.

These buggers would eat you and ask questions later

If there were no humans close by it was probably because these dragon dinosaurs feasted on the early humans

This is typical of the ignorance of these so called dinosaur hunters ...

They find a baby then assume the bigger one is an adult. The bigger one could have been an older sibling and the the parents the size of two double deckers...
