Shinrin-yoku

Shinrin-yoku is the Japanese art of forest bathing. I've been doing it for years. Go for a walk in the woods, take your shoes off, sit and breathe it in. It's ace.

I even have some favourite trees. It sounds crazy but I'm sure they've got some awareness of me because I feel them smile with recognition at me.

Anyway, I've noticed a rise in people advertising guided forest bathing trips - you don't need a guide!! Just go and enjoy the smells and the feeling of being surrounded by trees.

Anyone else a fan?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I am.

Forests with light dappling through the trees, all the different shades of green and bark are just uplifting and soothing.

Between selby/york

Excellent I'm sure.

Sadly however all our green space forests are busy public places and don't want to get arrested

Forest bathing is usually fully clothed.

Just look at the trees. Don't shag them.

I've been doing it without even knowing it's a thing. It's better if you close your eyes and let the other senses come to the fore.
