Can you remember an interest you had in something that became a full blown hobby?

At what point do you think that happened and is it something that happens often? I have passing interests in a lot of things but very few of them actually turn into real interests and hobbies but I'm not sure why some things stick and others don't

I'd say investment of time and money.

Passing interests rarely spur you to splash the cash or prioritise your time, whereas hobbies definitely do.

Have lots of hobbies myself and yes I’d agree it’s when you start buying and collecting things the joint needs
