Maybe because a lot of them who do just get random abuse messages. I’ve seen loads say that on here. I don’t think it needs to be on a profile as long as they’re honest about it in private message. It’s usually the first thing I ask anyway.

Realistically the ones who are going to lie anyway wont use it though and the ones who admit it will have it on their profile or tell you so it wouldn’t make much difference.

True. I’ve always been pretty good at sussing out if they’re married though. And to be fair a lot have been honest about it especially as I always say are you attached it doesn’t bother me if you are.
