Monday Mental Health Check-in 23.05

Morning all, how has the past week been for you?

I went back to CBT last Monday and managed to let some stuff out. We talked about homework and I’ve been much better at letting the feelings come, being kind to myself and riding them out. I’ve managed to do this all week without the need for propranolol and I’m really pleased with myself. It’s been a weekend of complete self-care, I’ve been away with a few old school friends to a place with a hot tub. We’ve done lots of walking and had two days of fresh air and lots of chatting. I’m feeling like I’ve got my mojo back. The walking has been great for my health anxiety and I’m feeling strong again, so fully intending to go home today and start eating better again and working out. I actually can’t wait, I’ve missed it.

What about you? Have you had a positive week too or does today find you struggling?

Take each day as it comes. Many do say they understand,many do not have a clue what some really could be going through,its mostly internal.

Bless you x I was a bit like that last week. My therapist asked me to write a ‘worry script’ about things that were bothering me and why and it unlocked it for me. Not suggesting that would work for you at all, just sharing because I know how frustrating it felt for me! Hope it passes soon, it sounds quite overwhelming x

Not sure how I feel so will say surviving for now

Mostly good week with a couple of socials with friends but the dark thoughts never far away

One day they may go and I will know what I want from life and how to enjoy fully
