Do you drink?

I mean on a normal basis, just at home, not nights out.

Last year, due to personal stuff I drank far too much,

. When I was putting baileys in my 5am coffee I figured I should change things!!

Since January I just have one bottle of wine a week, but the last few weeks it's crept up to 2 bottles. Just on a fri-sat.

I should buy smaller wine glasses than maybe one would suffice?

I don't drink on a regular basis. Only for a night out or special occasion and maybe a couple in the evening on holiday but I can take or leave it.

Very little these days. I drank a bottle of red one night in the week just gone, the most I have since christmas.

I average not even one alcoholic drink a week over the year.

Not always been the case. When I was 18-23 in the military and had little to do in the evenings, everyone went out, 7 nights a week. 200 units a week wouldn't be unheard of.

Save the drinking for a rare night out.

Typically i have 2-3 bottles of red during the week, tend to go to my local fri/sat night but drink craft ale there.

Its not set in stone, some weeks i wont touch a drop.

During lockdown i was sinking a bottle of red every night... habits creep in very easily.

I don't. I've had one alcoholic drink at home since I moved the psycho dwarf out of the house, and that was this week, not alone.

I also don't drink when I go out really, have had 2 occasions in the last 6 months where I have and that'll do me probably til December if at all again this year.

For the past couple of years I drank ever or every other night. Not healthy for my mental state (I was going through a lot)and my body. I gained 2 stone and a tummy. weekdays 2/3 cans. Weekends. Bottle of wine and cans or rum.

Earlier this year i curbed it. I cut down lots. I might have one or two in the week and a few drink on a Friday or Saturday. I don’t get pissed anymore as I’m passed that.

Don’t let it get out of hand op, and by knowing it already is a good thing. Just cut down. Or share a bottle with a friend, you only have half then

I’m a binge drinker and will drink all sorts on a night out. Living on my own, lockdown taught me that drinking at home is totally pointless and I’ve knocked that on the head. However I’m currently staying in hotels a lot with work and finding myself having a couple of pints most nights just to fill the time…

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

If you walked into my house you would think that I have an alcohol problem. There's various spirits, Guinness, a dozen cans of bitter, and 14 bottles of wine.

In reality, I have one bottle of beer on a Friday night, as that has become a tradition in memory of my friend who did so before he passed away, but apart from that I rarely drink at home. I did have a large whisky last night, though.

I need some lady to come and offer to help me drink the wine. I'll provide cake and a good natter in return.
