I have bouts of this when all I do is go through an evening powernapping an hour at a time, with full wide awake consciousness in between.

Yes in fact this morning was so strange. I made a sex tap with someone had met for fun and some how it got leaked and I was terrified of what people would say. But the opposite happened and was told it wasn't too bad and that had gave me a great confidence boost.

Wouldn’t think too hard about it or read too much into them. Mine often bring out things I would like to say or do, and give me greater clarity of thought in my real life. Other times it’s random shit that bears no relation to anything in my life.

I had one dream last year about work, where I had read a very detailed email from one of our directors, it had pushed a load of buttons, and I had written a “reply all” email pissing all over it, taking it apart on forensic detail. And for a final flourish, I had gone back to the start of the email and rewritten my opening salvo, changing it from “I don’t agree with the message being conveyed”, to a more direct opening of “this is bollocks”, and hit send.

The following morning, I was so convinced that it was real, I had to check it sent items.

Other nights are less realistic, I can fly, I kill people, or I end up in bed with one of the girls from a local coffee shop.

I never used to dream at all, or I rarely remembered them if I did. For a few years now, I have begun dreaming regularly, quite bizarre dreams that I remember in detail. Very odd change.

I’ve got a weird one. About a month ago I dreamt of my deceased nan - she was telling me that she’s happy and that she’s about to go to australia (something she always wanted to do).

I knew she was dead and I didn’t know how to break it to her. Then she told me that she’s ok and I shouldn’t worry about her, then she asked how I was and said she’ll always be around to take care of me. At that point I became aware that she also knew she was dead. Then she said she has a surprise for me before she goes, and then I woke up before I could find out what it was. It felt so real.

Then a few days later (in real life now) I received a letter about a bank account she had opened for me. It had some money in and they had only just traced me all these years later.

So weird. I’m not superstitious but it’s really made me think

I honestly believe that it's due to compartmentalising events in my past 'to be dealt with in due course'. They are often referenced with past events and people from my life and I think I'm finding time to process them now. Some are pretty bizarre though.

It can be very therapeutic to look into what dreams "might" mean...plenty of websites to research. I had a time where this helped me a lot.

Dreams are part of your subconscious thoughts and being. A recurring theme might suggest something that needs processing x

In that case, I need to shag some of the waitresses in local coffee shops.
