some one you know at a club

I'm in the process of getting my self to Atlantis club in the near future still abit nervous one thing that bothers me is if you bump into some one you no there I like to keep things very private as this ever happened to any one before and if so what did you say/ what happened

Wouldn’t really see it as a problem or in less it’s a family member that could be quite awkward

But just a friend or something like that I wouldn’t see it as a problem as yous are both there for the same reason

Only think I could see a problem if your a married man and scared they tell the wife

other than that don’t see a problem at all

This always makes me smile as the next nearest clubs to us in Newcastle are down in Leeds. When we have visited Quest for example it always seems to have four or five couples from Newcastle in all saying they were avoid the clubs in Newcastle for that exact reason.

When we go to our local Club in Newcastle we are more likely to.bump in to people from Scotland.

Even if it was they are probably just as worried about you spilling the beans, we are all there for the same reason.

The only people I have ever met at clubs that I know are people I know from other swinging events/meets. I think the risk is _very_ low of bumping into someone in vanilla life at a club.

As an example: I hardly ever meet anyone I know in real life at the local super market and I am there a lot more than a club. You would be very unlikely to meet anyone you know and if you did they would likely want to keep it quiet too.

You will hear lots of stories about people driving to clubs not on their doorstep to bump into someone they know because everyone has the same idea.

Tbh you are there for the same reason and "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" type attitude

I used to worry about this and low and behold on my last visit to Chams saw someone I went to school with

Everything was cool and I didn't feel anxious at all when I saw them.

We discussed this the other day between ourselves and one of the main reasons we are reluctant to go to CJs in Glasgow. I wouldn't know anybody but Scots might.

The view I take is if you did see someone you knew, your both there for the same reason and I'll be probably cool with it due to the cold War situation. Ie neither of us still the beans.

That's how I think I would react. Ask me again when it happen!

Thx for answering Dave, now it actually means a lot your answer. You don't know anyone who admits to being a swinger. If you could say you had a friend or colleague at work who openly admitted being a swinger then bumping into one of these people may be a potential issue for you as they would most likely have nothing to lose telling people , hey you'll never guess but I bumped into Dave at the swinger club the other night. Now your fear has come true.

But since there may be people around you who are secret swingers but discreet enough to NOT make it common knowledge as you yourself confirm by not knowing anyonelike that, it's almost a given that should you , ( as unlikely as it is ) bump into someone you know it's pretty much a 99.9% chance seeing you will be as big a fear for them as it is for you. Go to the club and enjoy and stop thinking about the worst case scenario as its probably not even a 0.01% chance you will be spotted by someone you know and even less chance you'll be outed by that person.

If you do see somewhere there that you know, what's the issue? If you are cheating on your wife and are afraid someone will say something, I can understand, otherwise they are at the same club and aren't likely to say anything.

I've attended Atlantis in excess of 100 times and once I saw another parent from my sons school. We grinned and acknowledged each other and that was it.

What happens at a club, stays at the club
