It was a brilliant movie. Terrific performances. Though I don't understand the meaning about things like riding a horse into a sky, it was an interesting film nevertheless.

Belfast

Haven't seen it yet but curious to see how it looks as large parts of it were shot right beside me and in other places I know very well.

It’s from Norse mythology. The Valkyrie. They used to take the dead into the afterlife.

He was hallucinating that it was happening to him. That his gf was a Valkyrie.

It's the most accurate representation of the nordic/viking culture in any media so far. The cinematography is breathtakingly beautiful, good performances...but the trailer is somewhat misleading, it's definitely not the Hollywood romanticised version of vikings, such as represented in TV shows like "vikings" or "the last kingdom " or other viking movies and video games . The reality of how they used to act, think and live will most likely make you pause for a second and make you go "WTF was that".

The first time I saw it I felt a bit disappointed as there wasn't a lot of action...the second time watching it I was able to appreciate the artistic elements of the movie....the third time I finally was able to understand what exactly they were trying to showcase in this movie. It's definitely not for everyone !
