I completely understand your choice as it still has an instant impact today and is lauded as a 'game-changer'.

However, its 'power' you describe is sadly tainted by the later revelations the director basically bullied the two young stars into filming the scene, the only compromise being fake genitalia being used. Both stars have said many times they deeply regret going through with it and cite fear and naivety for not standing up to him and voicing their concerns.
