Why is this.?

Other potential factors.

Maybe men lie more, so didn't give up enough evidence to enable convictions?

Maybe Boris prefers to surround himself with "totty"

Maybe the papers are counting any politician fined as female on the basis that they've been a cunt.

Essex.

You do realise that Downing Street is a large office, so employs a lot of women as typists, researchers etc.

Secondly most are civil servants, so don't change when the ruling party changes...

Apart from the fact that most Civil Servants aren't Govt appointees, that's pretty insulting to highly qualified public official who happen to be female.
