One thing I can recommend to all of you here on fab is to travel to Norway for the 17th May celebrations (google it if you must)

National Day (Constitution Day), think it's the only parades etc in the world that isn't military related

Freedom from Sweden, its an OK day, but since everything is shut and your expect on the streets in your Sunday best its not as fun as queens/kings day and night in NL
