Fuck it, after the shit show of a day I’ve had I’m heading to the pub.

This is why I like American bars with the seats at the bar. You can easily go on your own in the states. Watch sports or chat to the bar staff.

Seems like most places here have gotten rid of bar seats.

I totally get this…. I work in a bar and it’s soooo normal for guys to be in a bar by themselves but hardly ever see women doing it. I maybe would but would feel self conscious about it

I often go to the pub alone, usually during the day for food, read the paper and book.

Once got called a faggot because did not want to share a table with a couple of regulars who wanted the table

Feel self conscious, it wasn’t so long ago it was considered something that it just wasn’t acceptable for a woman to do. Not a sports fan either.

I get that. It’s not something I would normally do, but since I became single, I’m either gonna become a recluse or do something about it.
