Either work more hours or get a better paid job .. Simples.

That's what the Minister said. It's all over the news

Honestly this might sound heartless but who cares?

I feel bad for the people that are genuinely affected by this. It must be bad.

But in reality, how many people are REALLY choosing between heating their house and eating food? Hardly anyone. People are just getting involved and wound up about an issue that doesn’t really affect them and isn’t really a crisis either.

I hope the very few people it effects get the help they need! For sure. But everyone else needs to stop pretending they’re suddenly starving to death, when they aren’t.

Yeah. It does sound heartless.

Obviously heating isn't really the issue for the next few months, but food is, and cooking it.

What about us that aren't able to work? Forgotten about again.

What makes you think it affects only very few people ? Fuel bills have doubled for everyone

all loved up

I had to listen 3 times to be sure I'd heard the minister right....

If only it was easy to do those two things.. I got a £1 pay rise an hour... it's been eaten up already in the extra Costs... I can't work extra hours as I'm now the carer of my 6 month old granddaughter and they don't do childcare to cover night shifts.

Food prices are going up.

Petrol/Fuel is going up.

Gas and electric is going up.

My blood pressure is going up.

It’s all take take take and very little give.
