mens height

It tends to be acceptable that a woman is typically shorter than the man but its perhaps seen odd if a woman is taller than a man..

A guy sent me a message saying he was short. i presumed 5'6 or under.. and he was actually 5'8.

What do you think 'short' means for a man.. or the point at which a woman becomes tall??

I'm only 5'8 and I'm often referred to as short........ I even had a reply to a message saying that she would meet me as I wasn't tall enough, she was only 5'1!!!!

Average height for women in this country is, I think, 5' 4". Technically any woman taller than that would be tall.

However, I'd say 5' 8"+ is tall for women and 6' is very tall.

For men, I don't know the average height. I consider anyone under 5' 10" short.

I'm usually between 5' 10" and 6' in heels so I prefer men that height or taller. 6' or over is my ideal.

That said, I've never turned a man down because of his height.

A mans height has never really crossed my mind as something i would class as important for a meet.

I had an ex who was 6'4 and we just looked silly lol..

Being 5'3ish guess pretty much all men are taller than me

This baffles me I know I'm short at 5'6 I don't expect taller women to want to know. But women who are shorter or a similar size are missing out as I'm the correct height for a boss snog lol.

I have turned down guys because of their height.

Tall (6ft and over) is part of the attraction for me and Im unashamedly height-ist when I have my proper profile showing.

I likes 'em tall and 6' 3 plus would get extra brownie points

For me short would be 5' 8 and below probably

i thought my hubby was short at 5ft8, my mum called him little man.

my brothers and sister are tall.

i met a man who was only 5ft4 and i am 5ft10, but it didnt bother me as he was very cute and had a nice hard cock.

Because I don't fancy them, or they're rude or self-centred or selfish. Poor English puts me off. Using txtspeak puts me off. Not being able to accommodate puts me off. I'll turn someone down if I don't think they're being honest, or I think they come across as uptight, bigoted or boring. If they seem desperate, or as if they'll shag anyone, that would put me off. If they are very overweight or have boobs I'll turn them down (and yes, I know I am a lardarse. I'm a lardarse with preferences).

Lots of reasons, but height isn't a factor.

I think of men 5' 8" and under as short - but as I'm only 5' 2" that wouldn't bother me. If they were 5' 5" or less I'd be taller than them in heels, so not fussed on that, personally. I like to be on tip toe sometimes when kissing - and that's definitely achievable w ith anyone 5' 8" or more

I struggle sometimes with taller/ very tall men (6' 2" or more) - it's not always true that it doesn't matter when led down

I would say that I'm more physically attracted to tall men but ultimately, for me it's the whole package, I wouldn't turn someone down because they're shorter than I'd like. Some of the best sex I've had was with a short guy!

The ONS said the average man in England was 5ft 9in (175.3cm) tall and weighed 13.16 stone (83.6kg).

The average woman in England weighed 11 stone (70.2kg) and was 5ft 3in tall (161.6cm).

Women living in England or Wales will have an average of 1.96 children during their lifetime, said the ONS.

The ONS also revealed the five grocery items most likely to be in the average shopping basket - a two-pint carton of semi-skimmed milk, a pack of sliced ham, a box of breakfast cereal, some bacon and a bar of milk chocolate.

The average age to get married in England and Wales was 30.8 for men and 28.8 for women but the average age for divorce was 36.9 for men and 40.8 for women.

Consequently the typical man remarried at 45.9, compared with 43.1 for women.

The ONS analysis also suggests it is women who need to do more exercise.

Only 29% of women do the recommended amount of exercise, compared with 39% of men.

I'm 5ft 10 and the vast majority of women I meet (in everyday life as opposed to 'meet') tend to be shorter or same size as me. However compared to other guys I would consider myself to not be tall. For me tall is 6ft and over.

I once saw a woman a few times who was 6ft 1 and wore 2inch heels (she didn't take them off even when she was otherwise naked lol) and I quite enjoyed the experience as 'something different' but in general I think I prefer my women under 6ft, although I am not really sure why...

Everyone is tall to me as I'm only small, only dwarves are smaller than me.

To me 5'8 seems average height for a man. My OH seems very tall to me and he's 6ft.
