Can't find my last post so just gonna post it again. Kik is messing up so what's a good alternative to kik that don't charge or require phone number and has the similar chat features?

Pretty sure telegram requires a phone number to verify your account. However you can share a username to connect to others, you don't need to give your number out.

"Stay on here?"

Isn't as instant or too practical.

Chat can flow quicker and easier elsewhere.

I had a look at it. it only connects with those that are already in my phone book. I'm looking for an instant chat feature like what kik use to have.

What are you objectives or requirements?

If you're happy to share your mobile number with whomever you wish to chat to then WhatsApp is totally fine. It's easy to use and intuitive.

Otherwise use Telegram (highly recommended). It's loaded with features and customisable with options to give you a more tailored experience. And you don't have to share your mobile number. You can remain totally incognito.

Kik: only requires one brain-cell to operate. It's awful.

An app that has a chat feature that allows u to chat with people from around the world at random. Once I have chatted, u can choose to add each other and continue the chat further.

Once you’ve Signed up for telegram you can hide your number in the privacy settings and people can add you just using your username
