first time this year had to defrost the car,what do you hate the most about winter

even worse,just got the car thawed out and warm,then have to go put wellies on and get out of the car to take the dog walking yuck

The fact it doesn't come in the summer holidays!

Just think of all the fun kids (and teachers of course!) could have making snowmen and sledging if only they had a nice long holiday when all the snow was expected to fall!

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Ice and snow on the roads when I have to drive...Arse End seldom gets gritted (fecking council tightwads) so more chance of an accident 5 miles either side of home before the main road is gritted

On the other hand, this year I'm quite looking forward to the first covering of ice on the car as my new motor has a heated front windscreen that apparently clears in less time than it takes to use de-icer so can't wait to test that out
