So I’m up in Newcastle alone No mates or company where is the best place to go for a drink!

It's Sunday night so it should be quieter than normal anywhere in the centre.

Have a walk over the bridges and go along the Quayside. If it was earlier I would have said go to The Free Trade Inn but it’s a bit late for that now.

There’s a few bars near the court. There’s a Hard Rock Cafe opened along there somewhere if that’s your sort of thing.

Newcastle and Gateshead

Is the pitcher and piano still by the curvy bridge, that was always a nice place to drink.. the problem with being on the Gateshead side of the quays is that all the pubs are on the other side of the river… so any suggestions are going to mean crossing the millennium bridge
