Have taken my daughter and 5 of her mates out for her birthday and had a great time. One of her best friends is in a well known soap and how she puts up with the attention is beyond me! If this is what it's like as a preteen I'd hate to be her mother in a few years time

Not an easy situation however you look at it. The kid could turn out to be a premadonna or stressed with all the attention. I wonder how many child starlets have problems later in life.

I've known her since they started school and get on well with her parents and I'll honestly say she's one of the nicest girls I know. But yes, I do wonder! I'd be sick with worry if it was one of mine every time she was out of the house. Locally everyone knows her so it's not an issue but have now seen first hand what it must be like with strangers pointing and staring and taking photos
