What's your favourite place. I'm happy living in the countryside but some friends who are more urban say its too quiet

I’m a country boy, born and bred.

I can’t be doing with the noise and pollution of a city. Like you go up to that there London for a day, come home, blow your nose and there’s DIRT in the tissue. FFS!

I enjoy a visit to a city, but nothing can compare to the peace of home.

The hassle of having to drive an hour to a shoe shop or a decent supermarket is void now with home delivery.

I love the countryside and would never live in a town for city again.

In the west.

I'd rather be in an urban area. The amenities are so much better.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Country, please. More space, less twats, better air.

Ok, going to gigs is a faff, but other than that...

I was born in the city but moved a bit more on the outskirts. The area is nicer and it is quieter but it felt weird not being in walking distance of everything

I get the best of both, live in a very rural area with Liverpool an hour away, Manchester and Birmingham just over an hour

I was born in south London and have always lived in large towns or cities. I'd never live in London again but I still like living in a city. I have no urge to live in the countryside.

Think it's an age thing. I'd have hated living in the country when I was younger but now I'd love it.

I’ve spent all my days living in the country enjoying the peace and quiet wide open spaces and the tranquility

My last 25 years I’ve been working in the city and travelling daily

I love where I live and enjoy my work

But I couldn’t live in the city

I live in the countryside and would happily live in a city, great to have everything at your fingertips.

Sadly though in a city with just eats and deliveroo being a viable option I'm sure my health wouldn't thank me for it.

I just find it interesting when I visit large cities how people live so close to one another and those high rise flats would literally push me over the edge!!

I am not a city person, much prefer the rural life.

Sadly our village is being approached by urban sprawl
